Chris is a Direct Response Advertising Professional and Google AdWords Consultant.  He had always been fascinated by the science of advertising and when his first boss recommended he read “Scientific Advertising” by Claude Hopkins he was hooked.


Ten years in top London ad agencies followed, working on brands such as Sun Alliance Life, Ford, Unilever, Parker Pens, Polaroid, TSB, ING Group, British Steel, Hambro, Penguin and Random House, before setting up his own agency.


When Google AdWords (now rebranded as Google Ads) was unveiled in 2000, Chris was quick to recognise its potential value to his clients and over the ensuing years has successfully managed accounts for clients in the financial, insurance, motoring, home interest, building, travel and leisure sectors.


He believes in building long-term client partnerships – the longest so far is 21 years! – working closely with businesses to make a genuine contribution to their development. He mainly works with owner/managers of SMEs, helping to increase the flow of qualified visitors and then converting them to leads and customers, cost-effectively.


In addition to managing AdWords accounts Chris deploys his Direct Response advertising skills to advise on client websites and design conversion optimised landing pages.


Now based in Tonbridge, Chris works alongside a prominent media planning and buying agency from where he closely follows developments in the online media space.


He is a Certified Google AdWords Consultant and holds a Degree in Economics & Econometrics from the University of York.
